Playground Jiu Jitsu — Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

I acknowledge that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and martial arts training involve physical contact and inherent risks of injury. I voluntarily choose to participate in classes, open mat sessions, and all related activities at Playground Jiu Jitsu.

I understand and agree that: (1) Jiu Jitsu training involves physical contact, grappling, and submission techniques that carry a risk of injury; (2) I am voluntarily assuming all risks associated with training; (3) I release Playground Jiu Jitsu, its owners, instructors, and affiliates from any and all liability for injuries sustained during training or any academy-related activity; (4) I agree to train within my limits, communicate any medical conditions to my instructor, and tap immediately when needed; (5) This release is binding on myself, my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives.
